Engineered to secrete peptide/MHC complexes that can be selectively purified in bulk using affinity chromatography, biotinylated, multimerized (via streptavidin) and the resulting reagent incorporated into immunologically relevant assays for detection of antigen-specific T-cells (PubMed=30347189).
