Comments Characteristics: Derived from parent cell line by single-cell printing and shows an overall improved alveolar phenotype, most notably a tighter barrier formation (InSCREENeX=INS-CI-1031).
Characteristics: While identified as a type 1 pneumocyte (AT-1) under long-term Air-Liquid Interface (ALI) culture conditions, might exhibit type 2 (AT-2) characteristics, including lamellar body formation and surfactant protein secretion (InSCREENeX=INS-CI-1031).
Characteristics: Transduced with a lentiviral library consisting of 33 genes, some of which are retained in the immortalized cell line (CI-SCREEN) (from parent cell line).
