Comments | Characteristics: Transduced with a lentiviral vector containing a LTR-loxP-hTERT-SV40p-hisD-Pac-LTR construct. When transfected with Cre recombinase the cells loose telomerase activity and histidinol sensitivity due to the excision of the hTERT and hisD genes. Simultaneously, the cells acquire puromycin resistance because the excision brings the PuroR gene under the control of the retroviral promoter (LTR). Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=HGNC; HGNC:11730; TERT. Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P06988; Escherichia coli hisD. Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P13249; S.alboniger pac (PuroR). Derived from site: In situ; Foreskin, skin; UBERON=UBERON_0001471. Cell type: Fibroblast of foreskin; CL=CL_1001608. |
