Cellosaurus TJPH-1 (CVCL_F0KZ)

[Text version]
Cell line name TJPH-1
Accession CVCL_F0KZ
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: TJPH-1 (RRID:CVCL_F0KZ)
Comments Characteristics: Transduced with the retroviral vector SSR#69 (MoMLV/LTR-LoxP-HygroR-HSV/TK-IRES-SV40T-LoxP-Neo-MoMLV/LTR) expressing HygroR, HSV-1 TK and SV40 T-antigen flanked by two loxP sites (PubMed=20355246).
Characteristics: Because it has been transduced by a construct containing LoxP sites, transfection with the Cre recombinase eliminates the SV40 T gene thus reverting the cells to a non-immortal phenotype (PubMed=20355246).
Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P00557; Escherichia coli hygromycin-B 4-O-kinase (hph) (HygR).
Transformant: NCBI_TaxID; 1891767; Simian virus 40 (SV40).
Derived from site: In situ; Liver; UBERON=UBERON_0002107.
Cell type: Hepatocyte; CL=CL_0000182.
Species of origin Sus scrofa (Pig) (NCBI Taxonomy: 9823)
Breed/subspecies: Miniature pig.
Sex of cell Male
Age at sampling Age unspecified
Category Transformed cell line
