Cellosaurus Tau RD P301S FRET Biosensor (CVCL_DA04)

[Text version]
Cell line name Tau RD P301S FRET Biosensor
Accession CVCL_DA04
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: Tau RD P301S FRET Biosensor (RRID:CVCL_DA04)
Comments Characteristics: Transduced with 2 separate lentivirus constructs encoding the tau repeat domain (RD) with the disease-associated p.Pro301Ser (p.Pro636Ser) mutation fused to either CFP or YFP (ATCC=CRL-3275).
Characteristics: Tau seeds introduced into the culture media of this cell line can nucleate the aggregation of the reporter proteins. This aggregation produces a FRET signal which can be measured via microscopy, microplate readers or flow cytometry (ATCC=CRL-3275).
Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=FPbase; ZRLU4; CFP (Note=Cyan fluorescent protein derived from GFP).
Genetic integration: Method=Transduction; Gene=FPbase; 8DNLG; YFP (Note=EYFP, yellow fluorescent protein derived from GFP).
Genetic integration: Method=Transfection; Gene=UniProtKB; P00552; Klebsiella pneumoniae transposon Tn5 neo.
Genetic integration: Method=Transfection; Gene=UniProtKB; P03070; Simian virus 40 (SV40) large T antigen.
Transformant: NCBI_TaxID; 28285; Human adenovirus C serotype 5.
Transformant: NCBI_TaxID; 1891767; Simian virus 40 (SV40) (Note=tsA).
Derived from site: In situ; Fetal kidney; UBERON=UBERON_0002113.
