Comments Problematic cell line: Probably contaminated. The STR profile and HLA typing information are nearly identical to that of the A-549 cell line. Originally thought to originate from a melanoma patient along with a sister cell line, RE-25-HOM (Cellosaurus=CVCL_C577).
