Cellosaurus MB19tsA clone 2B2 (CVCL_6500)

[Text][XML][JSON]
Cell line name MB19tsA clone 2B2
Synonyms Mbeta19tsA clone 2B2; Mbeta19tsA, clone 2B2
Accession CVCL_6500
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: MB19tsA clone 2B2 (RRID:CVCL_6500)
Comments Characteristics: Deficient in base excision repair due to homozygous deletion of the promoter and exon 1 of polB. The deletion of polB is mediated by the Cre-loxP recombination. This deletion event is reversible and therefore this cell line is ideal for site-specific recombination using the Cre-lox system (ATCC=CRL-2308).
Genetic integration: Method=Transfection; Gene=UniProtKB; P00557; Escherichia coli hygromycin-B 4-O-kinase (hph) (HygR).
Genetic integration: Method=Transfection; Gene=UniProtKB; P03070; Simian virus 40 (SV40) large T antigen.
Transformant: NCBI_TaxID; 1891767; Simian virus 40 (SV40) (Note=tsA58).
Derived from site: In situ; Embryo; UBERON=UBERON_0000922.
