Cellosaurus PathHunter HEK 293 IkappaB Degradation (CVCL_KZ58)

[Text version]
Cell line name PathHunter HEK 293 IkappaB Degradation
Accession CVCL_KZ58
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: PathHunter HEK 293 IkappaB Degradation (RRID:CVCL_KZ58)
Comments Characteristics: PathHunter degradation cell lines express a target protein tagged with a beta-galactosidase fragment (Enzyme Donor=ED). Pathway activation results in the degradation of the target protein. The degraded protein is detected by adding to the cell lysis buffer another beta-galactosidase fragment (Enzyme Acceptor=EA). Complementation of the ED and EA enzyme fragments result into a catalytically active enzyme that generate a chemiluminescent signal.
