Cellosaurus ZPEG101 (CVCL_HB38)

[Text version]
Cell line name ZPEG101
Accession CVCL_HB38
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: ZPEG101 (RRID:CVCL_HB38)
Comments Characteristics: Selected using the 9-(1'-pyrene)nonanol/ultraviolet (P9OH/UV) method. P9OH acts as a photosensitizer. Normal cells which can incorporate the fluorescent fatty alcohol into lipids are killed by UV, but mutants who incorporate P9OH poorly are less susceptible to photosensitized killing.
Transfected with: RGD; 61814; Pex2.
Transfected with: UniProtKB; P42212; GFP (with p.Phe64Leu, p.Ser65Thr and p.His231Leu = EGFP).
Transformant: ChEBI; CHEBI:132982; Acridine half-mustard dihydrochloride (6-chloro-9-[3-(2-chloroethylamino)propylamino]-2-methoxyacridine dihydrochloride; Acridine mutagen ICR 191).
Derived from site: In situ; Ovary; UBERON=UBERON_0000992.
Cell type: Epithelial cell of ovary; CL=CL_2000064.
