Characteristics: Was thought to have cancer stem cell-like characteristics as it was thought to be produced by long term treatment of MG-63 with 3-aminobenzamide (3AB), an inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase.
Doubling time: ~22 hours (PubMed=19160414).
Selected for resistance to: ChEBI; CHEBI:64042; 3-aminobenzamide (3AB).
